Two new stars for Studbook Zangersheide
Querido VG and Quickly van 't Zorgvliet strengthen the team
During the recent BWP Stallion Approval Stoeterij Zangersheide invested in two young and much-discussed stallions; Querido VG (Dominator Z) and Quickly van 't Zorgvliet (Flipper d'Elle). The impressive Dominator Z-son Querido VG was bought from stallion owner Erik De Winter and breeder Nick Van Gorp. Querido VG is also a half-brother of Jeroen De Winter's Leandro VG who won a second place last month in the class for 7-year-old stallions at Jumping Mechelen. Querido VG showed both days of the stallion approval his powerful jump and scope combined with an excellent hindleg. The second newcomer in Lanaken is Quickly van 't Zorgvliet, a son of Laurent Goffinet's world famous Flipper d'Elle out of the mare Verona van 't Zorgvliet. Verona is also known as the mother of the high-quality sire Doré van 't Zorgvliet and the 1m50 jumping Hautesse van' t Zorgvliet. Her sister Contesse van 't Zorgvliet is in turn the mother of Kevin Staut's GP stallion For Joy van' t Zorgvliet! It is a dam line that is packed with quality and that shows the beautiful Quickly van 't Zorgvliet, a very careful stallion who has an athletic ability. A promise for the future! Breeders can get to know these two newcomers together with the fixed values of Stoeterij Zangersheide on 9 and 10 March during the open days of the stud farm in Lanaken.
