Vagabond de la Pomme retires
Fresh available at Haras de Clarbec
Vagabond de la Pomme (Vigo d'Arsouilles x For Pleasure x Darco x Chin Chin) was approved in 2008 for the sBs studbook and later evolved effortlessly to the highest level. Under the saddle of Penelope Leprevost, the stallion finished second in the final of the World Cup in Las Vegas, while he became 8th in the final of the World Cup in Gothenburg one year earlier. In addition, the bay stallion achieved many top classifications in the Grand Prix's of CSI5* Paris, CSI5* Basel, CSI5* Chantilly, etc. After Leprévost left Haras de Clarbec in February 2018, Nicolas Delmotte took over the reins for a short time. In November 2018 the stallion appeared for the last time in the ring, this time under the saddle of Félicie Bertrand in a three star competition. Vagabond de la Pomme originates from the famous dam line of Qerly Chin. His dam is none other than Sauterelle de la Pomme, who won many international classes with Patrice Delaveau and Philippe Lejeune. These successful genes are clearly passed on by Vagabond himself. He is known as the sire of Jarcobond van den Oude Eik (C. Mc Crea), J'Adore Van het Schaeck (N. Philippaerts), Jenson Van't Meulenhof (N. Bruynseels) and Jackson de Regor (A. Said ), all active at the highest level. Haras de Clarbec now announces that the stallion will leave the sport farewell and will fully focus on breeding. "Vagabond is still in good shape but there is a very high demand of him from the breeders. From a sportive point of view, he has nothing more to prove, so we decided that it would be better if he could fully concentrate on breeding." explains Elise Mégret.
