Woodland’s International Sales sells Mumbai van de Moerhoeve

Ludger Beerbaum invests in Woodland's International Sales

Woodland’s International Sales verkoopt Mumbai van de MoerhoeveThe year starts very well for the Woodland's International Sales team: they have just announced the sale of Mumbai van de Moerhoeve. The beautiful grey stallion was presented at the auction in 2016 as a 4-year-old, but could not convince the buyers back then. However, the team, consisting of Niels Bruynseels, Nick Vrins, Nick van Turnhout and Stijn van Campenhout, was so persuaded by the stallion's qualities that they decided to purchase him theirselves.
His father Diamant de Semilly has been leading the WBFSH ranking for years while his dam Ischgl de Muze (Nabab de Reve) jumped internationally herself under the saddle of Joe Clee. She is, in turn, a daughter of VDL Groep Eureka (Chin Chin), who won the Grand Prix of Valkenswaard with Maikel Van der Vleuten, as well as CSI5* classes at London Olympia, Göteborg, Helsinki, Lausanne and Paris... And if that is not yet impressive enough also the 1m60 jumpers Glock's London (Nabab de Reve), Quabelle (Helios de la Cour II), Ratina Kervec (Diamant de Semilly), Ta Belle van Sombeke (Chin Chin), Oak Grove's Heartfelt (Heartbreaker) and Taran de la Pomme (Tolano van 't Riethof) descend from this dam line. Also Golden Hawk (Vigo d'Arsouilles), who won the CSI4* Grand Prix of Liverpool last weekend under the saddle of Shane Breen is closely related to this Mumbai van de Moerhoeve! It won’t surprise you that Mumbai himself knows how to impress in the sport. The stallion already jumped to a 6th place in the PAVO Stallion Competition after 4 out of 4 clear rounds. Mumbai and Nick Vrins also knew how to convince during international competitions: they jumped three days double clear during CSIYH* Bonheiden and were able to excite round after round during CSIYH* Valkenswaard.
It’s for a reason that Ludger Beerbaum proceeded to purchase half of Mumbai. "Mumbai has recently been approved for Hannover and Westfalen and is now moving to Hengstenstation Beerbaum in Riesenbeck”, explains Niels Bruynseels. "They will take on both the sportive management and the coverages. He remains available through fresh and frozen semen at 500 euros + 500 euros at pregnancy. We look forward to the development of this stallion!”
